Does anyone have a child diagnosed with Dyspraxia/Dysgraphia?

My son was just diagnosed with Dyspraxia/Dysgraphia. He has an extremely hard time with his writing assignments for school (he is in 6th grade). Should the school consider letting him use a computer to type his assignments instead of writing them by hand? Is a diagnosis of Dyspraxia/Dysgraphia enough to get that into his 504 plan? I know it would make a world of difference for him (and me) if we did not have to struggle with his writing… read more

Seems like this would be more than enough to let him use at least a Neo or Alphasmart device. You should also look into keyboarding classes.… read more
