Last night I was getting grouchy at the let's say massive little green army man slaughter that involved all of the toys in the family room. No one was moving fast enough in the cleanig up dept. and I now have a new nickname.. "monster mom" :)

My son calls me "sugar bugar","hunny bunny", "love bug" to name a few...mostly "Mommy". As for the busy body lady...I once asked a busy body if he had ever had a special needs child. When he said "no", I then told him that I could forgive his ignorance. There is an autism shirt I just ordered that says "You may be puzzled, I'm proud." love it!

I call my daughter princess and suggested once to my husband that he could call me that too. My daughter is married and lives out of state but is still the same little gal who had cancer when she was 3 so she will always be my special princess.
My husband and boys were in the kitchen when I suggested my new nickname. My older son who loves to tease me joked that I was way too old to hold a princess title and that "queen" fit more since I have grey streaks in my hair. God love him.

I call him lots of cute names. He seems to want me to call him 'darling' whenever he calls me 'babe' for some reason. I do it because he is my little darling. Happy bouncing skittles? That makes me giggle. I bet they love it. I have been rhyming alot lately. The guys say I am a big geek. Who cares- I'm the mom and I can do what I want- so there :)

Tell any busybody old bats to mind their own business or say something sarcastic like 'it's strange how your son calls me Mr Babe'
