I would go with my instinct's...Has the school ever done something to make you NOT trust them? Make sure if she requires medication, special food Etc that you add a letter reminding them of this need's and maybe if you speak to the Teacher beforehand, Ask questions that you may have and that may ease your fears a bit. :) I am a bit overprotective myself and I dont think there is anything wrong with it! That would depend on how close to home it is (for me). However, if t is out of town;I would look at it in a different approach. Spending time together one on one. Share experiences, sure it may look like you not letting go but that is what I continue to do with my son. I am serverly over-protective due to the fact that he does have behavioral issues but I enjoy it. It gives us something to talk about for days. Hope this helps.

I would go with my child on the school trip. My sons have never been allowed to go on any school trip without me or my mother or a family member. When it comes to my kids I trust no one. Keep in mind the number of kids going as oppose to the number of Adults going. And Sea World where there is water and it's a huge theme park? This isn't something you just say let your child go and let her be. And this isn't a trip yo put your kids life in someone else's hand knowing that they will get distracted with other kids and the entertainment at Sea World. And it would have nothing to do whether I trust the school or not. It would pretty much have to do with the safety of my child and not taking any chances. On school ground I know my child is safe and where to find him, off school ground anything can happen. I would just go with her to the school trip.

I also would go. I go on all of my son's field trips.

I would go with. The school usually prefers I go anyway.
