Weredo they have special activities for kids with asd near Milwaukee Wisconsin?
thanks every answer was very usefull
call the YMCA and ask about "the inclusion project" Clay Aiken started ..it is a program to include special needs children in typical kids programs..a lot of ymca's have that program, also Ymca here where i live has a camp called camp G.R.A.C.E for kids with autism day camp only 9-2:30pm daily for up to 4 weeks in the summer time.maybe google Special needs activities and then put your city and state..you could goodle "Askate" this is a skatboard clinic that goes around and they furnish all the skateboard gear to help your child have a day of skateboarding..you sign up online...and there is surfershealing.org "surfing for kids with autism" if you live near a beach you could call the surf school and see if they offer a charity event like some places one time a year will offer 4 days of surf lessons for kids with autism for free..i have a place near me that does that.Hope you find him some awesome things to do..love, Buffy
You could start with the Autism Society of Southeastern Wisconsin. Here is the link to their website: http://www.assew.org/
Contact Children's Hospital and St. Frances Children's Center to get an Autism handbook for our area. My daughter is almost 4, and so far I haven't gained access to much support fo small children.
Does anyone know of a community center/school that offers affordable activities for special needs kids (asd) in NYC,and Bronx area
