I need recommendations for an Adolescent Therapist for PDD dignosis & a social skills group in Northern California (San Jose)
I am looking for an adolescent therapist who has experience working with teens with PDD diagnoses. Additionally, a social skills group would be useful.
CrimsonWife is 100% right... And bc Michelle is out of San Jose there are other clinics in the area doing social thinking. There is a list of trained practitioners on the social thinking website. As.i understand it ther can be quite a wait list to get into Michelle's clinic. Good luck. My son just got accepted to a social group in Santa rosa... Hoping it helps in coping w puberty
Michelle Garcia Winner is based in San Jose and her clinic is supposed to be one of the best in the country for social skills training. Socialthinking.com is her website.
