Setting up autism golf tournament

A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭
Sturbridge, MA

My dad works at a golf course and was thinking about doing a golf tournament to raise funds for families with children with autism. Not necessarily for research but to pay for toys, weighted blankets, iPads etc. Just wondering if anyone has done anything like this in the past... I would love to hear any suggestions you all may have!

Partner with a non-profit (like Elks or Vets, etc) so people can claim their donations as tax-deductable. It also helps people feel like the fund-raiser is legit.

Never heard of someone doing that but that would be a great idea
