Zoe woke up from her nap screaming and pulling on her ear so I called the doctor and they cant get in her until tomorrow but her ear is really red so im thinking about taking her to a walk in clinic. Has anyone ever tryed a walk in clinic for a quick thing?

I've taken my children to an after hours clinic several times. We're very lucky because it just so happens to be their doctor's office that provides the care in the evenings and weekend days.

We use them frequently as my guys are always getting sick at off hours/weekends. I've never had a problem, the wait time is much less than the ER and we just let them know up front that we need a Dr. that understands Autism.

i've used walk in clinics many times and have always had great experiences. My son actually prefers them because the wait is much shorter than the ER or dr office.
