Hi! I am going to my first autism society parent support group tommorrow night. What should I expect?

What have your experiences with autism support groups been like? Inspiring and uplifting? Information and resourceful? Or was it negative with too much complaining?

So I went to the support group and met some really great people. I probably talked way too much about my son, but it was the first time I was able to with people who understood!

I would ask why they continually refuse to put my son in appropriate placement due to his diagnosis
