My AS son and NT son love the leap frog dvd's. they go through sounds of letters and such. Very good series. We also have the leap frog tag books. Great books.

My daughter learned to read through our iPad and me reading to her each day. Move your finger along the page when you read each time. One App that I thought was really good was the Duck Duck Moose Apps. They work on basic reading and math skills.
