Thank you --good thought. We are now considering that.
I loved the power in NY, if the school is not doing things right. You call NYS department of education in Albany and make a complaint, They even have the form on line. If you have an insurance problem call NYS insurance office in Albany and file a complaint. They really hate when you tell albany what is going on. And cc the govenour. NY has the best consumer laws you just have to know where to go.
I worked in mental health and our medical director was on first name basis with our state insurance commissioner bc of the denials patients got. It was effective in getting them the care they needed. Good luck!
Have you considered filing a complaint with your state insurance commissioner?
