Try this site. I was going to use them to homeschool my grandson. Everything I talked to them about seemed like they were a great homeschooling program.

I have homeschooled my son since kindergarten he's in 6th grade now. I guess its different in every state. In Florida you contact your local homeschooling department, you can find it online. I sent a letter of intent to homeschool( they had a form online so it was super easy just printed it out and signed it and sent it to the address they had posted. Make sure to send it certified so you can see that they got it and you have proof that it was sent. Then I received a notice from them in the mail that he was approved to start. Every year I had my neighbor and friend who is a certified teacher test him on his progress and then I would send that form signed by her back to the department (once again certified). That's about all it took it was really pretty simple. You can find curriculum online, at local bookstores, even on ebay or thrift stores. If your child is very young then its much easier to find it cheep. I would work on handwriting, reading, math, spelling, science and social studies. you can get alot in, in just 3 hours of one on one learning. Keep it fun with educational games, videos, and fun field trips. Learning opportunities are all around you even a trip to the grocery store is great for math. A trip to the park, beach or zoo awesome for science. The Magic Treehouse series is great for reading and incorporates social studies, history and science. Pinterest has a wealth of ideas! Good luck have fun and don't take it too seriously, try keep it fun and you will learn along with your child.
