Hello, I don't want to start a vaccination debate at all. My kids are fully vaccinated. Has anyone spaced out the kindergarten vaccinations? I don't feel vaccines are the cause autism, but now that I know he is on the spectrum, I think I would feel better not having them all on one day. I feel they get too many in one day… read more
We follow a selective & delayed schedule and I don't allow more than one shot per visit. I did have to get the exemption form signed off by the pediatrician that she had given us the pro-vax propaganda required in our state.
I just took my 5 year old to her physical for entering kindergarten and she didn't need any vaccines this time. They pretty much done at the 4 yr check up. They do a few more when they begin middle school. I would call ahead and find what what if any he is getting. Then do your research.
Thanks! Good to know
Our son is in Kindergarten. We decided to wait, but probably will do them and space them out. The school had us sign a form stating that it is against our religious beliefs, but suggested doing them anyway on our own time table.
We spaced my youngest son's (NT) out. It was not due to thinking they caused autism but due to pother medical concerns (severe life threatening allergic reactions and heart problems) We just let the Dr. know that is what we wanted to do.
