Bedtime Blues
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

My son complains that he can't sleep because he gets over heated and the texture of his sheets and blankets are uncomfortable. Any other parents have any advice?

I switched to a down comforter - its cool in the summer and warm in the winter but light on.She sleeps on top of all the sheets just comforter on and always wears light pjs

I have been looking into some things to calm my son when he's overstimulated as well and I found this... I have not tried it...but it looks like it might do something....http://integratedlistening.com/products/dreampad/

fan and cotton sheets excellent idea also. a ceiling fan/light is good for safety - dehumifier or humidifer may help on condition of the room

My daughter takes the sheets off the bed, she prefers a heavy comforter over a light blanket. I never thought of the coolness factor.
