Angel Sense
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

Has anyone ever heard of Angel Sense? If u have have u tried it? My son will be starting classes in September with BCIU/early intervention and im worried how he will do and how teachers will treat him. It has a tracker if ur kid goes missing and u can even listen in on conversation wherever they are. It snaps to clothing or backpack. Wanted to know if its worth getting for the price and is it really reliable. Its rated 5 star's. Let me know what u guys think.

@michele18- homeschool kids socialize too, it's just not as demanding to do, and there are escapes. It also allows your child to have 100% customized attention and curriculim.

Any Natural Alternatives To Amoxicillin For Tooth Infections?
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

My 7yr old daughter has pain due to a dental infection.
Her Dentist is prescribing Amoxicillin to help with the infection and Motrin or advil for the pain.

Is there any liquid natural alternative antibiotics recommended?

When ever possible I like to go the more natural holistic approach .

Thanks

Do You Think It Is Worth A Try And What Are Everyone's Thoughts.
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

Just in need of some of your thoughts on Clonidine? My 3yr old has started to have massive sleeping issues and melatonin has not been successful. I spoke with his Developmental Pediatrician and she suggests trying this medication. I have researched it as much as I can, but am very interested in hearing from others. has it been successful with your kiddos, worth a try or should I try a different method??? I get a little nervous with going the medication route? Thanks for the feedback

Which Therapies Are Most Important For Young Toddlers?
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

My daughter has ABA theraphy and nothing else yet. I want her to have speech, occupational and physical but not sure she would be able to handle all of that at once, plus I don't see how there is enough time to fit all of that in daily. I really need help with which is the most important for her young age. Please share your experiences or what has helped your child during toddler years. Thank you.

Work From Home Jobs
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

Do any of you moms or dads with special needs children work from home? i am looking for a remote job that i can do along with my daughter's busy therapy/school schedule. Finding something that is not 9-5 remote daily seems to be hard. i am able to work some hours just not straight through like being online from 9-5 with no interruptions. This is because marleigh has therapy sessions every day throughout the day so i am trying to find something i can kind of set my own schedule for. I live in NC… read more

Any Tips For Potty Training A Nonverbal 4 Year Old?
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

My 4 year old son is nonverbal, diagnosed with level 2 autism. I've just started an attempt at potty training, but with not much success. He will sit on the potty but very briefly. He shows no sign that he has to "go" and is not bothered at all by a full diaper. I've tried setting a timer, offering rewards and set up a little potty area with books but I'm not having much luck. Any tips or support would be so appreciated!
