Books Similar To Clementine?
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hi! Can anyone please recommend a book similar to Clementine for my son? His SLP suggested Clementine but she thought it would be a good idea if the protagonist is a boy, either elementary school or middle school age. He is almost finished with Bat And The End Of Everything. Thanks in advance.

Does Anyone Have Advice As I Try To Prepare My Aspergers Daughter For Middle School Next Year?
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

Middle school starts in 5th grade here. Im worried about all the drama that tween girls struggle with in middle school. Even the ones that don't have aspergers seem so young to be in that environment but then you couple that with my daughter who is around 2 years behind her peers as far as social/emotional skills go and it really stresses me out. Any advice would be greatly appreciated :) Thank you!

What Are Your Experiences With Online/homeschooling A Child With ASD
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

My son is refusing to learn in class and is interfering with the learning process of others. I am considering homeschooling or online schooling with my son. My son does participate in social groups outside of school so that element will not be completely missed.

Which Reading Program Helps Children With Autism With Comprehension?
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

I used various phonics primers (preschool) to help my son learn to read. Now he can read nonsense words at his current grade level but has very low comprehension. What techniques or reading programs could help him improve vocabulary and understanding of the material he reads and listens too?
