Seems that there are SO many wonderful services in North Jersey, from adaptive dance to camp to social skills groups and nothing in Southern Jersey. My 6 year old daughter would benefit SO much from attending a group. I've googled my heart out to no avail...just wondering if there's one I'm not aware of in the Burlington County area. Thanks!!
This should never be a problem, but as Prom time gets closer, I was trying to find ideas in Chicago for Special Needs and Teens with disabilities. They should not be left out and the traditional prom setting just does not work for our family. Any info would be helpful from the past or present.

I live in Logan and my son goes to Mount Logan Middle School. He is behind on reading. I was told that they would have the technology to help him with reading in his other classes but apparently they don't have the funding for this type of technology. I am wondering if there are any tutors in the area that could help with reading.

I am in a bit of a situation and hope someone has some good advise. I live in Oakland CA and I had singed up my son for an inclusion program at the local rec center. From the very start I advised he needed a 1:1 aide. I was told one would be provided. I have now been told they can't provide one. I need to find another program for my son. Does anyone know of a good inclusion program for a 9 year old child with ASD in Oakland CA or close by?
Do they receive their funding from a municipal park district? If so, the program manager should contact a local special recreation association be the 1:1 until they find a suitable 1:1 is found.
I was curious as if anyone has found a safe website for Autistic teens to connect with each other.???
