I'm going to need to work to pay for therapy for my children and I have no one to watch them or care for them while I work. If anyone has any ideas of where I can start my research, I'd appreciate it. (I live in Washington State but can, and probably will, relocate back to Utah.)
We advertised in the Special Ed Department of the local college, and got a good response from two SpEd teachers to be. By good response, I mean both actually came back to watch Luke and Kate a second… read more
My son has reflux pretty frequently. I am not sure if he has pain or any other discomfort because he is a little over two years old and doesn't speak much. He doesn't have any other stomach issues (diarrea, constipation, vomiting, etc.). He also has ezcema. He has a pretty limited diet and I would like to make sure he is gluten sensitive before I put him on a gluten free diet. He is already in a casein free diet. I found out about Cyrex Labs while doing some research online. I would appreciate… read more
Thanks a lot moms, for all your answers and helpful information. I think I am just going to try taking him off gluten and see what happens. Hope you all have a great day! :-)
Can anybody help me with details of any organisation or establishment that could assist in helping my high-functioning autistic son make and play with friends. Hes 10 years old and sadly has been unable to make any lasting friendships with other children of his age and ability. He goes to a state mainstream school so there are no shortage of opportunities but sadly he hasn't been successful. We live in Maidenhead in Berkshire
There is a place in Latham, that's the only place I know at this time

I live in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada, and have just read about the testing available through Great Plains Lab. My 20 year old son is mildly affected with Asperger's, and is now motivated to try food and supplement support. Does anyone have experience with this lab and it's tests? Were they helpful in making decisions about diet and supplements? Does anyone know of a good doctor/practitioner in Winnipeg Manitoba, that can help guide a person with ASD through the maze of possible treatments… read more

Hi, my child 2 years old. Has poor eye contact and speech delay. Also he is addicted to horses. He loves to hold them for all day . He hugs them, he is trying to seat on them, even if it is 2 inch high. At home I trying to hide them from him, but he always can find one, in the magazines, in the books. Is it any sign of ob normality with this, or maybe it is some connection between them? Thanks to every body.
Something u can flush 😎🖖🏽
I took B to a new therapy place today and they want to try food therapy because Ben really only eats about 10 things due to his sensory issues. Has anyone tried this? I hate to pay for a therapy that does not work. Thanks

My son was diagnosed with autism disorder. He received multiple therapies between the ages of 3 and 6. He responded so well to therapy and medication that we were told he did not need services. We have had behavioral difficulties over the years and the doctors just prescribed more medication. I was never given a clear diagnosis until a couple years ago and he is now 13. The first time I saw his diagnosis on paper is when I asked for his medical records when we became concerned about some side… read more
