What ADHD Medications Have Worked Well For Your Children With Asperger's?
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

My son has been on Daytrana patch since February. He currently is at 20 mg. I feel like it is not working at all. He is more irritable, aggressive and impulsive. He cannot swallow pills due to sensory issues. We previously tried Focalin XR (he kept chewing the beads) and Vyvanse (increased tics). I was wondering about Methylin as it comes in a liquid or chewable or Dextroamphetamine which also comes in a liquid. Anyone have any experience with these???? Thanks!

Could I Get Some Advice On What I’m Looking For When It Comes To Choosing The Right Speech Therapist For ASD And ADHD Please?
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

My daughter was born 28 weeks prem. She was diagnosed with ADHD and ASD in November 2023. She’s 5 years old and does present with poor executive functioning skills and has been doing OT for the past 2 years but now we need to start Speech Therapy to assist with her expressive language. Any advice on what sort of speech therapist with specific skills that they have done would help so much! Does DIR floor time and Ayes Sensory Integration assist in helping a kiddie with ASD. Thanks so much 😊

Mert Brain Health
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

My son just started something my wife is bringing him to for neurology for brain improvement. It's a six week therapy that is supposed to improve communication, behavior ect. If it does not work we will put him on medication to calm him down. Has anyone ever heard of this or used this treatment for autism? Thanks all for answering my question and your time. https://www.googleadservices.com/pagead/aclk?sa...

Does You L/O Have Issues With Putting On/off Shirts, And Night Potty Training Still?
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

She’s independent for the most part. But we are still struggling with her being able to independently put on, and take off shirts. She’s still wearing pull ups at night, because she will have accidents. Does anyone else struggle with these two issues still? Idk what else to do. We’ve worked with a O.T. For years with the shirt problem’s, and the overnight potty training but nothing. 😩
