I've googled this question and read the medical answer's which were vague so I was wondering what, as parents, you feel the difference between Aspergers and autism is? Is Aspergers the same as HFA?

Non Verbal Watching Shows In Different Languages Is That Ok?

My daughter is 6yrs old and non verbal. She's beginning to mumble alot and repeat words. She loves to watch shows in different languages. Will this hinder her from learning her primary language first?

My non-verbal 10 year old really likes listening to other languages. I figure that any language is stimulating the parts of the brain used in language. It can only help.

Does Anyone Have Holiday Issues?

Does anyone have holiday issues?

Last year our 14 yr old asked us not to put his gifts under the tree until Christmas Eve because it is too hard to look at them, know they are for him and not get to open them, the anxiety of Waiting was too overwhelming for him.

We did wrap them but put his under the tree the night before and it helped him. I did tell him, I will feel like you do not know you have gifts if everything is out and yours is not there. He told me, Gran I know you get me stuff but I… read more

Aspergers With Speech Delay? Constipation After Shots?

earlier this year my 4 year old son was diagnosed with Aspergers. My understanding is children with Aspergers don't have a speech delay anybody else have this?
Also Anybody else deal with constipation and their children after shots? My son has been dealing with it for about 2 1/2yrs bow and doctors can't seem to find out why.
