Has anyone had any experience with their child with Asperger's Syndrome taking German in school? My older daughter took Spanish in high school (she also has Asperger's), but my son will be taking German and I am worried because it can be a very difficult language to learn.
You'd be surprised with Asperger Students and a foreign language. Usually they do very well.
My son was never diagnosed with Aspergers, but I suspect it now that both his children have been diagnosed with ASD

What is the best GPS for a 5 yr old boy? My son tends to wander off also, also likes to run away. Concern that he will run off at school especially in the morning that they wait on the office with door opened. The schol it that secured. I warned tha teachers about this.
IONKIDS has a watch and tag to place on the child and a system that warns you when they are 1 to 700+ fet away and actually tracks the direction in which they are headed

My son will wander off if he sees the door open when he's at school. It's so bad that he does it anywhere from 5 to 10 times a day sometimes. He'll wander/run off when we're out shopping or at a park. Even at home I've chased him a few houses down. It scares me so much. And he doesn't get scared if he doesn't see me or his daddy anywhere around, he'll just keep on walking.
My son used to do the same thing. I know it sounds weird but I bought a kids safety leash.
