Hello, all. I am seeking any tips, advice, suggestions, anything on how to manage ABA therapy with my three year old diagnosed with autism while also having another little one. I am nervous/worried about my two year old feeling neglected and want to make sure I’m fulfilling the needs of both.

We are in Dallas, Plano Texas area. Can someone recommend me an ABA therapy provider around this area please? Also if they provide in-home service. Thank you.

His school provides bare minimum with therapy. Our kids (only) were once on Medicaid and it seemed to provide pretty decent therapy throughout the week, however, with a pay bump at my job, and my wife now going back to work, we are just over the threshold for Medicaid. Private therapy is something that I know is worth it but again cannot simply afford it. I'm looking for ABA providers who provide in home / in clinic / in Park sessions on weekends in groups.(In San Diego) I want my 3 yr old son to get exposed to other kids of his age group under supervision of BS. Right now he gets 10 hours of in home ABA. Also looking for ABA providers who do music and pet therapy in addition to ABA. My son is musically inclined with fantastic memory. My husband and I are from Brazil, but we're planning on moving to the US (San Francisco, New Jersey or New York) to have better treatments for our 3-year-old son.

Here we have speech therapy twice a week and ABA sessions four times a week. School is regular, he doesn't get to participate at a special needs classroom.

My husband will be transferred by his company, he works with IT. He gets health insurance by his company.

I work in early childhood education and while we can’t diagnose we can screen and refer. I did our screenings on my daughter and with the results consulted for a screening and have been placed on a wait list. Unfortunately in our area the wait list is almost 2 years long. I am struggling to get support from those around us as it’s hard for them to believe she would have autism. My parents especially, I know it’s contributing to outdated views. Any advice?

Am I still qualified to be my autistic child's in home provider through IHSS (In Home Supportive Services), if I am on disability (SSDI), for having anxiety disorder and being on medication prescribed by my psychiatrist for anxiety to me for over ten years, as long as I can successfully provide for my child's needs without my anxiety causing any disruptions or limitations in doing so?
