Do Children With Autism Qualify For Some Kind Of State Health Insurance?
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question šŸ’

My step daughter is almost 13 and we are "shopping" for health insurance right now. We do not qualify for Medi-Cal and the price is way to high through my husband's work. Appling For SSI For Child With ASD
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question šŸ’

Hi, I applied for SSI for my child when he was 4 and was denied twice. The reason stated was he wasnā€™t impaired enough. I think I was too optimistic when answering the case workers questions. And what should have been noā€™s or I donā€™t know I said heā€™s attempting. Which Iā€™m sure can only be interpreted as a yes he can. My sister thinks I should reapply, but Iā€™m not so sure. Has anyone applied, got denied, tried again and got different results. Thanks so much for any and all info and/or advice.
