Luke and Kate were both very orally defensive as toddlers (and even through the single digit ages). But both are in their 30s now, and take pills (even big capsules) without a fuss. Good thing, too… read more

Essential Fatty Acids
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

I'm reading a book about diet and breast milk, my little man will be a big brother in May, and they are talking about the importance of 'good' fats and essential fatty acids like Omega 3's and 6's. A lot of the studies referenced talk about the affects these have on many diseases and disorders...I notice Autism pops up a lot!

I imagine a lot of you have a child as picky as mine when it comes to eating and that their diet is pretty limited. These good fats tend to show improvement in mental… read more

What Multivitamin Do You Give Your Child With Autism
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

Does anyone recommend a certain multivitamin? I see a bunch of different vitamins that contains extra omega 3's, iron, etc. My daughter is a picky eater so i know she doesn't get all the nutrients she needs. She will only eat gummy vitamins. We have tried the flinstones kind but they seem a little bit too hard to chew. I will talk with her MD and see what he thinks but i thought i'd try here as well...thanks!

A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hi I wonder if there is way to get the insurance to pay for vitamins, probiotics and omega that are recommended by our doctor.

Any advise is appreciated
Thanks

My insurance denied coverage to the probiotics. Then the dan doctor called to get an authorization and we got it. It covered some which helps. I'm submitting the b12 shots to the insurance to see if… read more

The Nemechek Protocol
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

Just started the Nemechek Protocol and have seen amazing results in just 2 weeks. Has anyone experienced this? The site doesn’t say anything about it. Why isn’t this doctor more well known?
Super simple Protocol. Use of prebiotic Inulin, crank up Omega 3 and Omega 9, only use the best quality Olive oil, California Extra Virgin Olive Oil is to be the best. No more Omega 6 supplements and it’s been an amazing experience

How Many Use A Omega 3 Oil For Their Child And What Improvements Or Changes Has Anyone Noticed When First Beginning Use?
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

Recently, the past week, I have been giving my son a liquid omega 3. We had had had nearly 2 weeks of behavioral issues in school. I was getting called within 15 minutes of the morning school bell. Since the omega 3, I haven't received any calls from the school, and his behavior has been better and completing all his school work in class.
