How Do I Stop Diaper Picking?
My daughter sticking her hands down the back of his diaper and picking them and leaving cotton everywhere. I have recently caught her eating it
We ended up using the Little Keeper Sleeper with our son until he was fully out of diapers. A snug fit is key. We went up a size trying to get ahead of a growth spurt, and he was able to pull his… read more
My son, Logan, started sticking his hands down the back of his diaper and picking them and leaving cotton everywhere. I have recently caught him eating it and fear he will get sick. Is there something I can do to stop this bad habbit other than scolding or yelling at him? I have tried cloth diapers but school will not allow it. I tried potty training and he is not ready..
Any more recent ideas on the diaper picking?
Does he take a medicine? It was listed as a possible side effect for my son's medicine. It could be out of boredom or anxiety. My son has been chewing on things lately.

@A MyAutismTeam Member this resonates with me a LOT! I'm glad I don't ruminate like I used to.
I need a lil insight please. Sammy is almost 7. He has NEVER chewed on anything. Today, I watched his dad get him off the bus out the front window and he ran right by him, into the front door and into my arms where he started crying. That part happens on a rare ocassion. But today when he did it he started to bite n chew on me. Not bite to hurt but like it was a sensory thing. Chewed on my arm, my hand, my shirt. Like he couldn't chew fast enough. I know he was upset about something but can… read more

My 2 year old is so picky. At the beginning he would eat only cereal dry and PB&J. I took a more old school approach to get him to eat more. I give breakfast and lunch and a small snack after nap… read more
