My son loves stickers and bus rides but better is train journey

My son has a habit of constantly licking his fingers and then “playing” with his saliva. I haven’t noticed him doing it in specific situations , it’s more of a constant thing throughout the day. Any tips on how to stop this behavior?

if my son is playing a game on the copmuter or ps2 and he loses he has a complete meltdown, and i try to calm himm down but talking to him only makes him madder and holding him makes it worse so then my dad(who doesnt understand autism) comes to the bedroom(which has no door on it for me to be able to shut,and tells me to just spank his behind. But I dont want to teach him to hit or slap any more than he does already, anyone got advice, i sure could use it

My 4 year old daughter is terrified of butterflies, flies, love bugs, basically any flying insect...she used to love playing outside until she became aware of them...now I can barely get her to the car if she sees something flying around. We are planning a family reunion and would like advice on travel in an airplane. Info on recent travels is what I am looking for. We want to go to New York next year and would like to start planning. Any advice, travel info, best times to leave from Chicago, which airline, benefits for disabled people would be greatly appreciated.

We re planning to move to Austin TX and considering either Leander or RR school districts for our 3y.o. son with ASD. Does anyone know if either of them use a combination of play with ABA therapy? Our son responds much better when he is playing and having fun rather than working for any kind of reinforcer ( including edibles). Thanks!

She tends to do okay once she’s asleep. Sometimes she wakes up in the middle of the night but she’s alert. She woke up today at 5am after sleeping since 9:30 last night.
