Anyone have any luck getting insurance to cover purchase of a weighted blanket? We have Kaiser and I keep getting tossed around by Dr's who tell me to ask someone else for the prescription. I finally got the pediatrician to send a request but she said it will most likely be denied.
Family Reimbursement through medicaid waiver might cover it

I have a very newly diagnosed toddler and am looking for advice on the tried and tested ways others have used to stay on top of which specialist requires what follow up, schedule of therapies, tracking milestones/goals, and keeping up with insurance reimbursements etc… It’s kinda mind boggling right now and I’d love advice from others on what worked or didnt for them.

I am frustrated with the waiting list for speech therapy at every available service provider. I did find something called speechbuddiesconnect.com through which you can find private speech therapists in your area. Of course, it would be an out of pocket expense that I could possibly submit back to the insurance company for reimbursement. I just wondered if anyone has had any experience with that site.
So, my son is 3 and his neurologist suggest ABA therapy. Its expensive. My insurance won't pay for it and the state says I get paid too much for state assistance. Really, I get $14/hr. Is ABA neccessary if so, any way that I can get help.
