My son is pretty smart, and when he was diagnosed w/ ADHD he blamed that on all his bad behaviors, how do you know when it's just an excuse and when you should push them to try something new? This balance is so hard for me to find.

My 5 year old with PDD-NOS is not yet potty trained. He is not even interested in trying. Any advice on how to motivate him to try and succeed?

I'm a single mom of a 30 year old autistic daughter ( Miranda) we moved to Kernersville,NC a year ago and I can't get day care I can afford and the two places in forsyth co. that dss will pay for if they have the funds say they can't help... I am new to the Valparaiso, IN and my boys will be starting the SELF school in August and I'm a nervous wreck. I can't find any information or reviews about it online anywhere. Is anyone familiar with it?
