Any Single Moms In Anne Arundel County?
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

New to the area, I struggle to make friends here. I am a widow with no ties to this area, I was parachuted here by my company after my hubby's death. I would be interested in meeting single moms, preferentially with Aspie kids my son's age (he is 5).

Milk Question
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

I'm at the store and I'm wondering if almond milk is casein free
Also I only had regular milk at home before going out today and I gave some to my son the last 2 days. Anyone know if it causes more stimming, frustration and/or over stimulation in children? My toddler has been flapping , rocking more then normal and also his stool is changing so I'm blaming the regular milk. Just wondering
Would like to keep him on almond milk but wanted to know if it's casein free. And is there a way to get… read more

How And Who Do You Tell That Your Child Is On The Spectrum?
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

Teachers? Neighbors? People in the store? Family?

I Feel Like We Are Not Doing Enough To Help Our 4 Year Old. Where Do You Find The Help And Therapies?
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

OUr son is almost 4 and he is in Speech Therapy. He hasnt been officially diagnosed but he is probably on the spectrum, he talks and can communicate fine, (alot of achalasia). He can feed himself but is extremely picky! And has social issues. HE throws fit when his schedule is changed. And he will fixate on things. Cant stand strangers lol, But we feel we dont have a specific path. Hes just in therapy and is that just it? When does it end and what about school? We are looking into putting him… read more
