Looking For Information ( Good Or Bad ) On The Medication Guanfacine
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hi everyone
Looking for information on Guanfacine. My son is currently not on any med. I'm not sure if I want to start one. I briefly tried Zoloft and his appetite got out of control and he already has a big appetite. So the Neurologist said maybe we should try this one. I'm so terrified of side effects of medications. Overall he is good but he is very impulsive. And in the spring or in general if he's not feeling well then we will get some bad behaviors like head hitting. That is why I… read more

I used to take guanfacine. It works really well for impulsivity. The only side effect I had was that it made me really drowsy. I had to stop taking it because it slowed my heart rate and my heart rate… read more

Does Anyone Have An Experience With Going To Social Security Court To Get A Decision For A Child On The Spectrum?
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

Does anyone have an experience with going to social security court to get a decision for a child on the spectrum? I was wondering what the process was like. I am on my 2nd appeal for my son to get ssi and I have to either take him to court and get a chance at proving his case or let the office make a decision based off of what they think. Any information on it would be appreciated.

Please try the again so you can get what you need for your child. It's the government again. Did you make copies of what you submitted? If not make copies this time.
