My autistic daughter is increasingly violent toward her younger brother and is spitting on things and people still. There are different reasons that she is doing these things. There is no one single reason. Any recommendations and/or advice would be appreciated. Medication suggestions are also welcome. Thanks!

I do the whole nine yards when it comes to helping my child reach her best potential . team meetings every three months which the school and a.b.a prividers meet in my home and brainstorm with a communications specialist to help her meet her next set of goals set forth . but it seems that they are both standoffish with there own style PLEASE HELP

My son is 6 will be 7 in a few days. He was diagnosed as being high functioning autistic when he was 3. So I am trying to relocate for Vet school, and I am beyond scared because I dont want to lose the services my daughter currently has. Not that she has many but I don't know which state offers the best Autism services through medicaid. I keep battling between Colorado, Georgia, Texas, Arizona and Tennessee. Any parents on here that can help by giving me some input would be AMAZING! I am so stressed about this all that I am thinking of just giving up.

Our son is 2 1/2 and recently diagnosed. We're fortunate in that he does not present with many challenges at this point. He has some speech delay which is showing improvement and he has difficulty with joint attention/responding to his name. I need any and all suggestions. I've narrowed the cause of the behavior down to two things, 1. lack of impulse control and 2. can't handle No or not getting what he wants. In any situation that something he wants is denied he hits, chokes, pokes (usually in the eyes). All aggressive incidents were mild in the fact that he pulled his punches to insure no one was hurt. I'm thinking about getting a service dog. I know a dog will ease my anxiety when we go out. However I NEVER see anyone in my area with a service dog at the grocery store, library or even the park. Is there anyone who has a service dog in the city?

Can anyone recommend which private school in Greenville works best with children with autism??
