I've heard good things about Chewelry, but cannot give personal reviews since I don't have kids who like to chew stuff.

Gum did the trick for our son, who was 7-8 at the time.

We've tried several--my kids bite through most chewies in a day or two. These last them quite a long time (months!) They're also great for older kids b/c they just look like a really cool necklace--my daughter (9) gets compliments on her "necklace" all the time. They cost more than any chewies out there, but to me it's worth the cost for something they'll use and that will last us awhile! They can also be worn as a clip-on--my son wears them that way, b/c he doesn't like things around his neck.
