Need An Advocate For Stanley County Schools
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

i need help finding an advocate to help me with my sons school. His teacher is saying he is twirling around and staring at his hands which is an autistic trait but she does not want to handle it. I have his therapists outside of school on my side but i would also love to find an advocate to help.

My *yr old did that. I bought her one of those small Trampolines that is used for exercise and it really helped. We had her jump on it when she started flapping, spinning or jumping and after awhile she stopped doing all of it. Though if she is extremely stressed or excited she will still jump. Hope this helps
