Music Therapy In MA
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

I am looking for a place in MA or NH that has Music Therapy for kids on the spectrum. I am having a hard time finding a place. Any recommendations out there? Thanks!

Thanks Heidi1027 - we did Music Together when my son was younger but it became difficult to keep him in the room and engaged in the activities. And yes it can add up. But that reminds me - our town library has a music program which might be cheaper or even free (Northboro Library).

@A MyAutismTeam Member, no, we have yet to find one. We went to a Music Together class and my son enjoyed it but it was going to be very expensive for 6 weeks. Everything costs so much money!!!

Hi - I'm looking into music therapy now for my 4 1/2 year old son. Did you wind up finding a place that you recommend? We live in Northborough but don't mind a reasonable drive. Thanks!

Have you ever researched "kindermusik" in your area? My little boy LOVES it! It has been a huge lift for his social skills.

Thanks Eric! This is very helpful, I just had not had the chance to do the search on here yet!
