Pediatrician writes all my meds. I have to call every month a few days ahead, then get the RX written, pick it up and get it filled. A little hassle on my part to remember a few days ahead of time, but its working pretty well.
My son was on Strattera for awhile and then it seemed to stop working. Luckily he experienced no side effects.
We had really bad results with Strattera. My son's heart raced and he became very very anxious.
My 7 year old with Aspergers takes Concerta 37mg. It works very well during the day so he is able to go to school and focus. He is making straight A's since beginning the medication and he still has his sweet personality :).
My son takes 2 kinds of Concerta. one with 54 mg and another with 18mg. He also takes Risperadol. He takes Clonidine at night. He is Aspergers with ADHD and OCD. The meds work well about 90% of the time. He has random days where he is too worked up or too hyper to stay on task or stay focused. other than those random days, meds work pretty good.
