We live right in between Rochester developmental center and Syracuse's center. We r wondering if anyone has experience in either one. We've had negative experiences w Rochesters pediatric department we were Hoping the developmental center would be better
That's Emma's doctor there too!!! They put her on meds because they said they are not sure what they are dealing w. That anxiety is so significant that it needs to be dealt w first. They are going to redo her ados because the first one was too muddled and unusual, it was done by a b.o.c.e.s. contractor over this past summer. Everything about Emma has been complicated and difficult. To us It's very obvious but they want too make sure there's nothing else going on before they put a label on her. Which I can appreciate but its also delaying the beginning of treatment and in Sunday's I think I'm losing her on certain days. They said though something is wrong, very wrong otherwise we wouldn't be there and we wouldn't be having so many meetings w them, the experts in the field and a continued conversations and ratings done to try and pin point just what is going on.
We have had a great experience at Kirch. Dr. Susan Hyman is great, and we also love our NP, Patty Corbett-Dick. If your child is on medication you must be seen every 3 months for monitoring.
We are going to the kirch. We are fairly pleased with the team.
We went to Kirsch at Strong Hospital this past year for our 2 year old son and were very happy with the doctors and resources available.
