Anyone Else Skipping Halloween?
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

ok maybe asking this because of the classic family peer pressure. We are in a new city with noone we know, we are broke, and our two really dont know about halloween nor do they want mommy dressing them up so I am skipping halloween, I have those that are for and those that think I should expose them to all sorts of things (which normally I get praised for) and how are they suppose to know the fun of halloween if you don't show them? So yeah, we are skipping it anyone else joining me????

I'm 40 weeks pregnant, so we didn't do anything this year. I'm OK with that.

Many shopping malls offer free trick-or-treating for the kids too. It's a bit easier and sometimes safer to walk along a pedestrian mall (or inside for colder weather areas.) Never underestimate a big bowl of popcorn, a flashlight (or a couple candles), and a few ghost stories for a memorable evening!
