But all these classes are geared towards old people and nothing to do with special needs children. Does anyone have any ideas on what major or types of classes… read more

Some schools have a bachelor's in psychology with a concentration in ABA. SUNY-Binghamton is one: http://www2.binghamton.edu/psychology/undergrad...

I am currently in school for my Associate's degree in Human Services and finish this coming January, when I will then go on for my BA in Psychology with a focus on ABA therapy for the exact reasons you are pursuing it-to help other families with cildren on the spectrum. Try Kaplan College they have an online degree program. http://getinfo.kaplan.edu/index.aspx?gclid=CPfY...(Phone number can only be seen by the question and answer creators)&se=google&kw=kaplin+college&m=&ef_id=UKiKnwAARXz2Nza4:20121118071335:s

Become a board certified behavior analyst (BCBA). Do a search online and find out the requirements to become certified. It includes both a degree and experience and then a test.
