especialneeds.com has every therapy item you can imagine. At christmas time toys r us puts out a special needs book with all the toys put into categories such as communication fine motor, etc.
Autism speaks. org is always a great site to go to for resources. And when it comes to toys and your pocketbook sometimes you got to be creative. For example sensory and fine motor you can get one of those small storage containers and fill it with rice or sand and hide small toys in. puzzles are always great. you can find recipes for edible playdoh. When my son was working on fine motor, he loves grapes and I would refuse to get the grapes off the vine without him trying to do it himself. Just some ideas hope this helps
Funandfunction.com and nationalautismresources.com have good toys and ideas as well.
fatbraintoys.com is a good place to look. the Doug and Melissa brand is a good one. My daughter is 3 and is ASD and doesn't play with toys very well. So for Christmas I'm think about things like a small trampoline, a hanging sky chair, learning puzzles, musical, and bouncing ball toys. ADS kids are visual and mine loves motion, so these work for her. Also if you search sensory toys or objects you might find some things that will work for yours.
Thank you so much.
