I would try theraputic products such as weighted blankets fidgets, therapy swings etc. You can often get. Insurance or medicare to cover some of the costs. You can google
Kidcompanions
Sensory goods
Search for sensory bins on pinterest too.
Amazon often has them cheaper if you find something you like

There is therapy... usually though an Occupational Therapist and/or a Physical Therapist Some communities have specialists who do this - when we lived in Southern NJ there was a Sensory Playhouse. It reminded me of the way a person gets over a phobia.... alittle bit of exposure over and over again until gradually the child's reactions calm down. It was very successful for my daughter, now age 11. She used to not be able to tolerate clothing at all and is now a pre-teen fashionista.

See an occupational therapist ASAP. They are amazing. If you are at all able take you son to Denver Colorado to the STAR Center. You can look them up on line. They did amazing things with my son. Our insurance did not cover the expenses we paid out of pocked but it was the best money I have ever spent. We used our flexabile spending money. If you cant do that a local OT that works with sensory issues. They can do the testing/evals to see what areas he needs help with. I used to drive 2 hrs one way one time a week for therapy for my son before we finally moved. I did this for over a year. It was totally worth it. Hope this helps. God Bless
