Speaking as an autistic individual, who has an autistic child, I would never, ever recommend anything that you can find from Autism Speaks. Additionally, it sounds as though you are trying to "cure" her autism, by removing her outward displaying indicators of her autism. Perhaps I'm wrong, but that's what it sounds like from what you wrote.

Unfortunately, that will not cure her autism. Nothing can. Her stimming is part of who she is; it's how she copes with the world. I know that it's difficult, but maybe you could try to accept her limitations and attempt to pin down what stressors may be causing her to stim so severely. If you can decrease the amount of stress and overstimulation she's experiencing, perhaps her stimming will become less aggressive.

The more you feel embarrassed by how she behaves, the more self-conscious she will be about her need to stim to be at ease. She may try to stifle those needs and that will cause her even more distress, and cause more meltdowns and shutdowns. Please, don't let her grow up like that. Support her, and love her for who she is. Try to help her in any way that you can, without unintentionally shaming her for being autistic and needing to go the extra mile to cope with life.

I wish you the best of luck.

I don't know anything about PANDAS, but we saw a big gain in potty training after starting Nystatin for yeast. I wish I could say it helped with her hyperactivity, but it didn't. We did see a big improvement in her ASD symptoms after starting Behavior Balance DMG, however. Specifically in speech and social interaction.
