Finding Good Speech Therapy Near Angier, NC
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

We live in Angier, NC, near Fuquay-Varina, Raleigh, Holly Springs, all north of us.

I'm not really worried about insurance (well I am, but it is second) I just want to find a good speech therapist, he has had bad ones and marginal ones in the past. This last year he had a very good one, but she is part of the school system so unavailable to us.

His pediatrician is also willing to try and push things with the insurance company, I am also working with Sandhills to get extra coverage support... at least I have the initial paperwork started (still waiting for the case worker to contact us). I also keep thinking about getting medicare just for him, but I am not sure how to go about that without waiting for 10 years when it will be way too late... but then my waiting probably doesn't help either ><;

Will your insurance cover speech therapy? I think the burden of proof is yours, but that might not be too hard.
