What do you encourage for independent play. Be have drawing and puzzles down but can't seem to find anything else she'll take interest in. She's almost 3 and electronics are not an option at this time.
Musicial instruments is a thought. I'd love for her to learn to play something. :)

I have suspected for awhile that my son may have dyslexia. He is almost five and will enter kindergarten next year. I asked the school district to test him and they are coming up with all sorts of excuses why he’s too young to test, including the excuse that he is “just autistic” as if he can have only one diagnosis. My son is refusing to learn in class and is interfering with the learning process of others. I am considering homeschooling or online schooling with my son. My son does participate in social groups outside of school so that element will not be completely missed.

My daughter is having trouble keeping up in class and is behind in reading. She gets help from the teacher but still isn’t completing her work in the classroom. She is reluctant to do homework. She says that she can’t read. She’s reading with help the books that she’s familiar with, and I think that she’s memorizing the words. Help my ex wont give my son his meds on the weekends or vacation time he has him. so my son goes days without it and comes home more upset and violent with his sisters and me.
