I have a question, if you had a wish to have and could have in your neighborhood.... A kind of daycare for special needs children (autism) what type of things would you like to have or see incorporated into the center, other then 24hr care and reliable awesome workers? Ex...structured play, social outings?
The two that you named are a pretty good start. Learning how to play is a big step for a lot of ASD kids, and requires a lot of effort on their part. If I were adding a suggestion, I might add specific targeted instruction, such as potty training, speech, or feeding.
What was already stated. And of course, qualified caregivers.
