Anyone Form California? I Need Some Advice
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

We live in Texas and we would like to know what services are available for our 6yr old son who has Autism. Is there any school district in California who have ABA services? We don't have insurance,Our son receives ABA therapies covered by Medicaid but just for 2 years,we still have 7 months left and we are considering moving to California.Any advice is welcome.

Yes school district will cover it as long as its in their iep. Regional will cover as a backup as well. Regional has great resources and services.

Medi-Cal does not cover ABA but the Regional Center should.

Besides the school district there is also Regional Center. Just google them as it depends where you live. My son didn't need ABA so I can't tell you about that. Good luck.
