I have a wonderful Montclair graduate student who is working part time as a job coach for my adult son (22) with autism as a job coach. Unfortunately for her, my son got into a new program and we have to cut her hours. She comes highly recommended by me and is cleared with Easter Seals in case you have any DDD budget through them to use. Message me if you are interested, feel free to share widely.… read more

I would check the state website for a dept related to health & human services, and call everyone you can.

How do you know how to find out which states provide this?

If you live in nj and you have an adult child with ASD, or if you are an adult with ASD, the division of developmental disabilities should provide a budget for services to be provided, which can include full day programs or 'self directed day services' which can include a job coach, or a fitness trainer, or .... Lots of things. If this applies to you, and you have not registered with the DDD, call them!
