We have used one form of betaine called TMG which is naturally available in different foods. But not as a digestive aid. For that I would recommend enzymes (Houston enzymes trienza). Our son has issues breaking down fat. Enzymes are great (can see difference in stool) but a bit hard to dose for us. Betaine HcL is used as digestive aid but haven't tried that. Enzymes are effective for us.
