How Do You Treat Acne On A Sensory Defensive Face?
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

My son is ten but is starting to get back heads on his nose. If he has a scab, he picks it till it bleeds. Any suggestions? We we're trying to get ideas before it becomes a problem.

Put a small amount of coconut oil on his face after he washes up before bed. Leave it on overnight and wash up in the morning. It works great on acne prone skin. As long as he doesn't mind going through the process. My son picks too so I figured if I cant stop him, best to treat his face. Now i know it works on acne but can't promise on blackheads. Worth a shot

How is he with cottony textures? Maybe the sensitive pad Strydex might work. If hebcan handle lotion, maybe cream. You may have to try multiple difrerent things.

Talk to him though. See if you can reach a compromise.
