This is actually an easy one. Believe it or not, video games. And now I'm going to tell you why. 1: A child learns action and reaction. Every button causes something to happen on the screen. 2: A child unknowingly learns hand and eye coordination. 3: In order to progress through a game, regardless of what kind of game, the child has to push multiple buttons at different times naturally building they're fine motor skills. I've used it with my daughter, as well as had friends tried with their kids. All that use the video games were successful in helping their child build their fine motor skills. If you chose the right games, your child also learns cause and effect. People knock video games saying that it's cause violence and kids. The same thing was said in the 80's about MTV, the same thing was said with rap music in the 90's, and rock n roll in the 50's. People have a problem with putting blame where it should go........ themselves. Mark my words, your child will build their fine motor skills while playing, and are so focused on what they see on the screen don't even realize what they're doing with their fingers.

for fine motor materials? funandfunction.com is one of my go tos. sensoryuniversity.com is also good.
also check out "son rise activities" and "RDI (relationship development intervention) activities" on youtube for some ideas of incorporating different "work" into play and every day activities….

@A MyAutismTeam Member, your response is great. Thank you very much. I think a simple multiple players video game is what I need.
