Toys Helping ASD Child In Potty/toilet Awareness And Training?
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

My 4-year-old is still using diapers, he has no potty nor toilet skills. Any idea of toys likely to help an ASD child in potty/toilet awareness and training?

We potty-trained our son at 3 1/2 (when he finally started talking) and using a jar full of lollipops in the bathroom. Every time he went in the toilet, he could pick out a lollipop. Because of his limited speech, we were not sure it would work, but he very quickly got the idea. Best of luck to you---it is a patience-testing process, but within 6 months, my son was accident-free.
