Can A Parent Ask For Specific Assesments Be Administered On A Reevaluation For Services?
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

My ASD daughter is going into Kindergarten and she had to be re-evaluated for an updated IEP for school and I asked for the WIAT and WISC test be administered as part of the re-evaluation to show the deficit but the evaluator did not do those tests. Do I have the right to have them done as part of the re-evaluation?

@A MyAutismTeam Member the WISC and WIAT will show deficits if you look at the sub categories. Also the evaluator pointed to the answer first and than each box and redirected her when she got the answer wrong. her IQ according to him was 99. Another evaluator did the WISC and WIAT test and did not point to the answer and her IQ was 59. So we have huge discrepancies in her IQ.
